I currently work as a consultant in the field of renewable energy and sustainability in Hong Kong as well as part-time and remotely as a postdoc and programme manager at the Institute of Economics and Environment (University of St.Gallen). My research area during my PhD focused on the social acceptance of renewable energies and electric mobility – where I tried to understand what the different drivers and barriers for social acceptance are and how they could be influenced by policies. Previously, I gained professional experience in an international NGO and an international IT company in Switzerland.
I hold a Master’s Degrees in International Management and Accounting and Finance at the University of St.Gallen and the London School of Economics – and successfully defended my dissertation at the Institute for Economy and the Environment at the University of St.Gallen.
I am an independent, highly-motivated and open-minded personality engaged in moving forward the energy transition. I have an interdisciplinary working background in project management, consulting, sustainability and renewable energies.
Swiss / Dutch citizen, I have lived, studied and worked in Switzerland, Great Britain, Canada, the United States and India. My current place of residence is in Hong Kong. I am fluent in German, English and Dutch and proficient in French.
